How to Get an Import License in Saudi Arabia?

- Customs invoice (in triplicate), required for most imports into Saudi Arabia (except for goods with no significant value)!

- The document stating clean and accurate shipping or airway bill

- All import goods should have SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization) Certificate of Compliance, issued by an authorized certification body in the country of origin.
- Meat products required a “Halal” certificate to specify that the slaughtering procedures follow Saudi regulations. Specific permission is required for some goods such as agricultural seeds, live animals, books, chemical materials, pharmaceutical products, etc. The Saudi government has restrictions for the following products such as weapons, adult magazines, alcoholic drinks, fur, pork, pornographic materials, and certain sculptures.
- Samples for display in shows or exhibitions are excluded from Saudi labeling and shelf life regulations but are subject to examination at the time of entry.
What Are The Important Documents Required For Import License in KSA?
The important documents required for all commercial shipments to Saudi Arabia are
- Commercial invoice
- Certificate of origin
- A clean bill of lading or airway
- Insurance certificate
- Packing list
